All new licenses include a one-year software maintenance agreement that covers:
- Unlimited access to all minor and major updates released in the period.
- Highest priority for solving reported software errors (bug fixes).
- Highest priority for implementation of requested features, or other improvements to the software.
- Free technical support by e-mail.
Beyond the initial one-year period, you may renew this software maintenance agreement annually.
By renewing, you will continue to get free access to all updates and prioritized support by e-mail.
When you install updates released more than one year after you purchased your license, you may get a message
telling you that the software maintenance agreement has expired.
This means that to use the version you just installed you will have to renew the software maintenance agreement.
If you want to continue to use the previous version of the software and not pay for renewal, you will have to uninstall
the currently installed GerbView software and then reinstall an older version.
Please note that you can run any update released within one year from your purchase without renewing the maintenance.
